Spanish Teacher,
In person / Online
I am an educator, learning experience designer, and lifelong storyteller at heart. Originally from Mexico and now based in Houston, my teaching is rooted in the belief that language is not only a tool for communication, but a bridge to culture, connection, and human understanding.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Processes from Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla, Mexico and a Master’s degree in Inter- and Transdisciplinary Arts from BUAP Mexico. Along the way, I have specialized in designing meaningful learning experiences that integrate creativity, collaboration, and real-world application.
Professionally, I have worked across public institutions, nonprofits, and national educational programs in Mexico, designing large-scale training initiatives and learning strategies for diverse audiences. Here in Houston, I have been part of Teach For America, where I have taught bilingual classes in English Language Arts and continue to refine my expertise in communication, literacy, and personalized instruction.
One of my big passions in life is the art of storytelling and theater, I have been doing theater since I was 7 years old. This has led me to believe that learning a language goes beyond vocabulary and grammar; it is about understanding context, tone, and the richness of the cultures behind it. Through conversation, storytelling, and real-life scenarios, I help clients build confidence while developing practical communication skills for the workplace.
Whether working with individuals or teams, my goal is to help professionals not only speak Spanish, but truly connect through it.
My approach is dynamic, human-centered, and deeply cultural.
